Our luxury caravans are located next to one another so we can provide holidays for large families … and even carers.
Ruddi’s helps 200 families every year – that’s 50 per caravan – and each one sleeps up to 8 people.
It costs £200 to send each family to a caravan – that’s £15,000 to run and maintain each caravan making it £60,000 to operate them every year.
The four caravans at Filey are named after Ali’s son Ruddi and three daughters Jade, Ellys and Gwennie.
All the caravans are in a row at Primrose Valley and the most recent one, Jade, was bought in October 2019 by the Huddersfield Town Pedal 4 Pounds fundraising cycle marathon. This caravan is completely adapted for wheelchair uses and includes a wet room and hoist along with a low level cooker and sink.
Gwennie has an access ramp, and two bedrooms with one en-suite bathroom and also has a bath. There is a separate shower room. The French doors open onto a decked area for outside dining.
Ruddi has 3 bedrooms including an ensuite bathroom and a separate shower room.
