Ruddi’s The Vintage Treat Rooms opened its doors in May 2015 to offer something a bit different for the good people of Linthwaite (and beyond). Having had to close the last premises due to various issues beyond their control, Ali and the team are very excited to be able to provide lovely afternoon teas, specialty coffees, freshly baked scones and cakes as well as beautiful savouries and soups.
In addition to this, there is a traditional sweet counter where people can return to the halcyon days of their childhood and buy a quarter (well 100g, due to EU regulations) of bonbons or select a lovely mix of sweeties to last the afternoon.

The whole shop has been decorated in a shabby-chic theme with homemade bunting and welsh dressers to complete the look. We love it and the fact that it has been very much a community effort with local people giving their time, skills, passion and effort makes it even more special.
We are eternally grateful to these people as well as One Good Turn Charity for all their support.
As things progress, we are introducing community groups:
Ruddi’s Treat Rooms is very proud to be the home of the group Tea & Tot’s.
We have a beautiful selection of vintage and wooden toys alongside a collection of more mainstream things too.
There will also be a wide range of craft activities should you want to make pretty pictures etc. with your little ones.
